About J10:
We are J10 church in Ashburn, VA. Our name comes from John 10:10, a verse in the Bible where Jesus says, “I have come to give you life to the fullest.” We exist to help connect people to their fullest life in Him. We refer to that life as our “J10LIFE”
At our core, we’re a group of imperfect people. Most of us haven’t grown up in church (or at least haven’t been in a long time). In fact, most of us, including our pastor, may not even have been involved with church if it weren’t for a place like J10. There are many different reasons people avoid church, and J10 wants to deal with those in any way we can. We want to be a place where we think more about the folks who don’t come to church than those that do. It’s funny… Jesus worried more about those very same people.

Areas of Responsibility:
• Lead a volunteer team to connect visitors through the assimilation process
• Lead a volunteer team to connect regular attenders in Small groups and ministry teams
• Give vision, training, and oversight to all ministry team and small group leaders
• Connect students to adult mentors
• Serve as a resource for other staff and volunteers
• Assess and refer people with counseling needs
• Communicate the opportunities for connection at J10
• Share in the creating of the vision with the lead pastor and leadership team
• Serve as the direct report for the administrative assistant
• Be a part of the development and training of the eldership team
• Serve as the “Face” on Sunday mornings (welcome, announcements and transitions)
Personal Responsibilities:
• Passionately strive to live your J10life.
• Maintain the God ordained priorities in your life putting Jesus Christ first, your spouse second, children third, and ministry / job fourth
• Live the Biblical standards of 1 Timothy 3:2-7, Titus 1:6-9, 1 Peter 5:1-2, and Acts 20:28
• Avoid the appearance of evil, let no hint of immorality exist and conduct life in utmost integrity in all situations
• Demonstrate loyalty to the vision and staff of J10 and always protect the unity God has given this church
• Investing and inviting people who don’t attend church by being involved in the community.
Job Experience
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven ministry experience
• A bachelors degree of any kind
•
