Worship Leader – Part-time
Description: Villa Rica Christian Church (VRCC) is delighted to announce an exciting ministry as part-time Worship Leader. VRCC is a non-denominational, independent Christian Church located in Villa Rica, GA, 35 miles west of Atlanta. Lead the church in worship through music, song and praise.? Lift the hearts and minds of worshipers, while instilling an atmosphere of excitement and praise. ? Serve with the Minister in planning and coordinating worship. ? Coordinate and practice with Worship Team members to develop a worship program that is smooth-running, well-coordinated, relevant and exciting.? Coordinate with the Media Center Team to ensure that:o Visuals and lyrics are well-developed, easy to read, and displayed seamlessly during worship.o Worship Team vocals and instruments are properly mixed. ? Seek out and recruit musicians or singers who possess a heart for worship. ? Maintain schedules, music libraries, CCLI updates, etc. as needed to stay “ahead of the game”. ? Organize, schedule and coordinate special or “themed” music, based on special messages, events, or holidays. Here is what you must need:? A passion for Worship Leadership.? Experience in most, if not all, of the items listed under “Here’s What You Will Do.”? Great people skills.? Instrumental skills, especially guitar. ? Singing ability.? Familiarity with contemporary worship music and technologies.? Be well-organized and dependable.? A desire to devote and average of 20 hours weekly to this ministry.
