Position Description
The Church of Christ in St. Joseph, IL, is seeking a full-time Youth Minister with a passion to reach and disciple Junior High and High School students. St. Joseph is a growing, bedroom community for Champaign-Urbana.
The Church of Christ averages between 230 and 250 on Sunday mornings with 15-20 Middle School youth and 25-30 High School youth in their Sunday evening youth program called REVOLUTION. Primary responsibilities for the Youth Minister will focus on students (grades 6-12) with some secondary responsibilities with younger children. Qualities desired include: a team player, strong leadership, genuine passion, cultural relevance, and good relational skills. Some youth ministry experience preferred.
