Position Description:
Sr. Minister
We are located in a suburb near St. Louis. The minister we are seeking must be passionate for God, His Word, and His people. He must also be fully dedicated to prayer and study of scripture in order to realize ongoing spiritual growth, both personally and congregationally. He must be a gifted communicator of biblical truth, with an emphasis on real-life applications. The pastor must also be able to cast a God-given vision and successfully lead the church to achieve this vision.
We also desire a pastor who will work enthusiastically with our strong and dedicated staff and youth. One must demonstrate the ability and willingness to co-labor within a team context with excellence, passion, creativity, and cohesiveness. This man must fully meet the qualifications of an elder as delineated in 1Timothy 3. The ideal candidate will also be a true servant leader.
We are an independent denominational Christian Church that has been here for over 120 years with approximately 80 members. Salary is negotiable. Parsonage (3 bedrooms) is included.
